Virginia K-12 Learning Acceleration Grants
Use your Virginia Learning Acceleration Grants for our English and Math classes. The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) announced K-12 acceleration Grants to be used for qualifying education services to address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on students’ educational progress and well-being.
Edison Academy LLC. received approval to offer English and Math classes under this program. Please follow the instructions below. Please contact us to learn more about the program.
How to use Virginia K-12 Learning Acceleration Grants at Edison Academy
- Contact us to select courses as we have limited capacity
- Forward grant confirmation email to edison.sat7@gmail.com
- Begin classes
- Submit invoices to the VDOE via Classwallet
Extended Deadline
Families now have additional time to use their grant funding. The original guideline was that families needed to spend $750 by August 15, 2023. The new, updated guideline is families need only to spend any portion of their grant fund by September 1, 2023. If you have not used any of your student’s grant funding by September 1, 2023, the funds will be returned and reallocated. As a reminder, all grant funds must be used by December 30, 2023.
